Dear Nonprofit Grantee Colleagues,
In this moment of health and economic confusion, fear and uncertainty please know that The Staten Island Foundation is thinking of you and those you serve, particularly our most challenged and vulnerable populations.
As we have learned from the experiences of 9/11, the economic downturn of 2008 and Superstorm Sandy, there are immediate, mid and long term phases and effects of disasters. The Staten Island Foundation has responded with emergency core support in these past times of crisis and our board will be considering options to assist, particularly going forward in the long term.
I am inviting you to be in communication with us by email to let us know what you and your fellow npo’s are anticipating or currently experiencing regarding operational disruption, loss of revenue and service demand. Current grantees should be in touch regarding issues with current grant deliverables.
